advantage-

1.p.o.p or gypsum cement used as a pattern meterial.

2.it carries a very high compression strength.

3.it forms a thick surface to resist normal knocks after drying.

4. it is easy to spread and level.

5. it mixes up easily with water.

DISADVANTAGE

1. gypsum plaster is not suitable for exterior finish as it can not be used in damp finish.

2. cement can not be mixed with p.o.p

3. it can not be used in moist situation

4. the labor cost for applying p.o.p is high
