2. The RG-14 is a .22 LR caliber, six shot blued revolver with an alloy frame, plastic grips, made in various barrel lengths, mostly 17/8 inch and 3 inches.

It was manufactured by Rhom, and assembled in Germany.

It was imported by FIE for a time.

The revolver is small, cheap at 50-100 USD, and works. In 1980 the MSRP was 66 US dollars. The double action trigger pull is heavy.

As a side note, John Hinckley Jr used an RG 14 revolver with a 3 inch barrel to shoot President Reagan, Jim Brady and others in an assassination attempt in 1981.

While no one was killed, it is amazing that everyone fell down (they were not aggressors) , even though the .22 LR "devastator" cartridges used did not explode except in the case of Brady.
