A hot day in the heat of the sun. Working hard as usually. Business good as a merchant. I was the only one in the city to sell statues of the gods. It was a special day ceremony of the new king of Babylon. He was going around the city of Babylon greeting other merchants and civilians. A noticed something the royal guards were not with him. He came and greeted me with others but he saw my golden statue of ea the god of rivers and was very interested he said I shall pay 50 gold coins shekels for the statue. I broke into a smile and said yes. I gave him the statue and recorded this as the happiest day of my life and took great care of the record to be found and read by the people who find this.
