Standing in the front of the engine: It will be on the left bottom rear side of the engine. You will have to lay under the engine to see it.
If you follow the top radiator hose to the engine you will see were it clamps on to a housing that is bolted to the engine. Remove the 2 bolts in the housing and it will be under that.
Yes the rear ends on those 2 will be a direct swop. If it is a 4-wheel drive then you MUST make sure that the gear ratios are the same.
