All rare earth elements except promethium have at least one stable isotope.

Natural-abundance samples of lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, erbium, ytterbium, and lutetium are all technically "radioactive" in that they contain measurable amounts of radionuclides, but the half-lives of these nuclides are mostly in the hundreds of millions of years or longer (in some cases much longer).

What elements is radioactive and synthetic barrium cesium currium and xenon?

Curium {Note correct spelling} is only element in the list given that is radioactive and synthetic.^ not correct answer and not even spelled right the correct answer is "lawrencium"The rare earth elements are located at the bottom of the periodic table and are comprised of the lanthanoid series and the actinoid series. The actinoid series is the second row of rare earth elements. All of these elements are radioactive, and all of these elements (except actinium, thorium, protactinium, and uranium) are synthetic.

What is lathanides?

Lanthanides?ærefers to the series of chemical elements that comprise the fifteen metallic chemical elements with atomic number 57 through 71. These elements are known as the rare earth elements.

What are the uses of rare earth elements?

your TV, smart phone, car, head phones, speakers all use rare earth elements. there are many types of rare earth elements that all have different uses.

What are the Uses of rare-earth element?

What does this mean- Most of the rare earth elements are considered to be synthetic?

All the rare earth elements are natural chemical elements (including prometium - element obtained also artificialy).

What made up all radioactive elements?

After disintegration all radioactive elements are transformed in other elements.

How many valance electrons do rare earth metals have?

16.546 valence electrons are located in all rare earth elements.

Can all elements be stable?

All radioactive elements are unstable. Most isotopes of elements in periodic table are radioactive. Overall, most of the elements are unstable but they are present in traces on earth. Most elements on earth are stable.

Are all transition elements are radioactive?

Not all of the transition elements are radioactive. Many of them are, and some of them have common radioactive isotopes, but some of them have no naturally occurring radioactive isotopes. Please note that all elements have synthetic radioactive isotopes, at least.

Radioactive elements comprise a majority?

Yes. Stable elements are 83 elements. all elements above that of atomic number 83 (Bismuth) are radioactive. Radioactive isotopes are of the order of 1500 radioactive isotope.

Are metals radioactive elements?

No. All elements with atomic number greater than 83 are radioactive, including some metals such as polonium, uranium, etc. But there are radioactive isotopes of most metals on the periodic table but are very rare and sometimes must be produced in reactor or particle accelerator.

What families have no radioactive elements?

Radioactive elements exist in all groups of the periodic table.
