Vitamins are are suppose to entire the body through natural whole food digestion. Not buy man made vitamins. Vitamins need phytonutrients to work anyway. They found that the vitamin C in an orange helps your immune system. So go eat an orange. Don't try and eat a pill to get the same result when you know that eating an orange was the original way to get your vitamins

Some vitamins are more dangerous than others. Large doses of vitamins A, B3, B6 and D are the most common causes of vitamin toxicity. The threshholds at which toxicity can appear are:

  • Vitamin A: 3,000 µg/day (5,000 IU/day)
  • Vitamin B3: 1,500 mg/day
  • Vitamin B6: 50 mg/day
  • Vitamin C: 2,000 mg/day
  • Vitamin D: 1,250 µg/day (50,000 IU/day)

Vitamins A, D and E are fat-soluable, so they can accumulate in the body more easily than other vitamins, which reduces the margin of safety.
