Bees and wasps do have a similar appearance. Bees are rounder, wasps are leaner.
Wasps are covered in a smooth almost shiny exoskeleton. Bees on the other hand are covered in a layer of fuzz, this has to do with the feeding mechanism as wasps are predominantly carnivorous while bees feed on nectar.
i think Bees are more like beetles because it's a step lower than a spider. That's what i have for my paper.
Bees are like beetles because they are both insects. Spiders are not insects, however, and bees, while similar, are not like them.

WASPS AND OTHER bees and queen bees
No, they are probably Bumble Bees or they could be wasps. Digger bees (ground bees) will be different than honey bees...honey bees will be a colony consisting of one nest with thousands of bees...digger bees, may be a colony of dozens to hundreds, but it will be 1 nest to a bee, just many nests in the same area..do note, in arid areas honey bees are known to nest in the ground in old rodent burrows, but once again there will be many bees using the one nest Lar
