∙ 12y agoBirds are warm blooded. They are endothermic. This means they generate their own heat and are not dependent on environmental conditions.
The opposite would be ectothermic, eg: reptiles.
The terms warm and cold blooded are misleading as the body temperature of a reptile, when it is active, can be quite high.
