Yes the Lynx Rufus Bobcat is on the Endangered list!

According to the ESA (Endangered Species Act) only the Mexican Bobcat is currently protected.

According to the IUCN, Lynx rufus IS NOT endangered. They currently (November 2011) enjoy a status of "Least Concern".

The New Jersy State Endangered Species Act DOES list them as protected.

Bobcats are listed under Appendix II of CITES.

Check out the Defenders of Wildlife website for more information.
