Brass instruments do not have reeds, some woodwind instruments do.
Because they're made of brass.
They are not brass instruments. They are woodwind instruments.
They are extremely loud, for the most part.

Trumpets and other brass instruments use mutes in order to change the fefect of the sound. The sound goes from very loud, warm and round to much quieter and slightly sharper and squeakier.

Goodness no. You can using microphones and special mutes, but usually a good brass player can play loud enough to fill an auditorium with sound.
Because they're made of brass.
BrassOn a brass instrument the bigger the mouthpiece the lower the pitch is.Must brass instrument have keys? The first brass band started around 1815.. All brass instruments have a mouthpiece you have to vibrate your lips.I play the baritone it is like the tuba or the trombone the baritone is smaller than the tuba and it has a no slide like the trombone. Brass instruments normally have a bell so the sound is loud. Most brass instruments are a gold colour or it is a silver colour. The brass instruments are made out of brass that is why it is called brass. The longer the tube is the lower the pitch is the shorter the tubing the high the pitch is. Brass can be classic or jazz.

I think you are asking "What are some musical instruments that can be played loudly?" Many electronic and electrified instruments can be played very loudly because they are amplified by electronic amplifiers and have electronic speakers. An electric guitar can be very loud. Some rare "folk" instruments that are not in common use today are very loud because they were meant to be played outdoors. The alpenhorn is an example of this. The bugle is a brass instrument that can be played loudly; that is why bugles are used in the military to give bugle calls for assembling all the soldiers on an army base. Among instruments that can be played in an orchestra or band, many of the brass instruments in the wind family can be quite loud. The trumpet is quite loud in a high pitch range, and the tuba is quite loud in a low pitch range. Percussion instruments such as the bass drum and the gong are very loud. Bagpipes are loud, particularly the large Highland bagpipes of Scotland.
because they are the loudest. That's always what my band teacher told me. So brass instruments are really loud compared to the others, same with drums.
because they are made of brass
