Yes. Kiwis, emus and cassowaries, together with rheas and ostriches, are from a particular group of flightless birdsknown as ratites. Ratites have wings but the bones in their chests do not have the capacity for flight muscles, which is what a bird needs to fly.

Kangaroos and camels are in a way related, and in a way, they are not. Camels are in the same kingdom, phylum, and class. but, they are in two different orders. Camels are in the order: Artidactyla. Kangaroos are in the order: Diprotodontia. They are also in different families.
