Plantae is the kingdom. But protists also have them

Where is the DNA in a eukayote?

In Eukaryotes the majority of the DNA is found in the nucleus. Some small amounts of DNA are also found in the mitochondria and chloroplasts, but these do not control the functions of the cell.

Which process uses chloroplasts in eukaryotes?

The process known as Photosynthesis.

The chloroplasts in eukaryotes closely resemble?

The chloroplasts in eukaryotes closely resemble cyanobacteria, as first noted by French scientist Andreas Schimper. Cyanobacteria are bacteria that produce energy for themselves through photosynthesis.

Are organelles only found in eukaryotic cells?

Yes. Prokaryotes are much too small to carry chloroplasts. It is theorized that chloroplasts were once prokaryotes that started a symbiotic relations with early eukaryotic cells, which explains why chloroplasts and mitochondria are found in the eukaryotic cell.

Is this true Lysosomes and chloroplasts are unique to plant cells?

Lysosomes, no, eukaryotes have them too. Chloroplasts yes.

Kingdom containing eukaryotes with no cell walls or chloroplasts?

I think it's animalia.

Are chloroplasts found in prokaryotes?

no.Prokariyotes lack any membranous organelles.Chloroplasts are only in eukariyotes

In eukaryotes where does the Calvin cycle occur?

The Calvin cycle occurs in the stroma of chloroplasts. Chloroplasts are plants that contain the pigment chlorophyll, which makes plants green.

Do eukaryote cells have chloroplasts?

No. Animal cells do not contain chloroplasts. Photosynthesis occurs within chloroplasts. They are found in plants and other eukaryotic organisms that undergo photosynthesis (such as algae).

What are some unicellular eukaryotes that contain chloroplasts?

There are many like that.Unicellar algae like spirogyra, chlamidomonas.
