No. Comics aren't worthless at all. If you're interested in the story and art, they're worth what you're willing to pay for them. If you're asking if modern comics books are worth any sort of speculation based money, then answer is usually no. Some older, rare comics from the 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's are worth money because there are very few, and they have significant stories in them, but the comics being printed today are largely without aftermarket value. But there are exceptions, depending on what people are willing to pay.
