∙ 12y agozanaflex or (tizanidine) is more similar to flexiril it has a very heavy sedation effect and is often used as a sleeping pill instead of ambien which is more addictive soma is more of a day time type relaxant tho it can sedate you its effects arent as intense as the zanaflex soma is more addictive. flexiril is the most often prescribed because its the least addictive one on the market i my self have been thought 6 different types trying to find one that works the best and tizanidine is my favorite at night skelaxin or robaxin is my favorite day time hope this helps also i must add i am not a doctor or pharmacist and everything i say shouldn't be taken as such if you have a serious question best to call a pharmacy most wallgreens have 24 hour pharmacys and can answer any questions
