Gamma rays, just like (visible) light rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation.

Gamma rays have a much shorter wavelength (and thus more energy) than visible light, which is why they are much more dangerous to human beings (e.g. they may cause cancer).

Why do gamma rays travel at the speed of light?

Gamma rays travel at the speed of light because both light and gamma rays are variants of the same thing: electromagnetic radiation.

Do light waves or gamma rays have shorter wave lengths?

I assume by light rays, you mean visible light rays. In this case, gamma rays have shorter wave lengths.

Does visible light have a higher frequency than gamma rays?

No, visible light has a lower frequency than gamma rays. Gamma rays are the highest frequency of electromagnetic energy. They are above X-rays.

Which electromagnetic waves have higher frequencies than ultraviolet waves?

Ultra violet light starts just above the visible violet.

How fast do gamma rays move?

Gamma rays are electromagnetic waves, therefore they move at the speed of light.

Why gamma rays travel as fast as the speed of light?

Because gamma rays are exactly the same thing that light is, only with shorter wavelengths.

What electromagnetic wave has a wavelength shorter than a microwave but longer than light?

Waves the have a wavelength slightly shorter than the visible light are as follows: 1. Ultraviolet 2. X-rays 3. Gamma rays

How the wave lenght and radio vary from gamma rays?

Can magnetic fields contain gamma rays?

No. Gamma rays are light, and the only thing that can "hold" light is the "inside" of a black hole's event horizon.

Is gamma ray a visible light?

No, gamma rays are not visible to the human eye.

Radiation whose wavelengths are among the shortest are?

Gamma rays. If you mean visible light, that would be the blue light.

True or false gamma rays are negitively charged?

False. Gamma rays are photons (light pieces), and have zero charge.
