This is a question I am still conducting a study on. In general, a goose is the most protective during the nesting season and after the goslings are born. (As would any family that was expecting or just had young ones.)
But the level of tha protectiveness depends on the individual goose. The father is usually the one doing the protecting and I have seen their concern vary from just swimming up to the shore to see who I am, all the way to challenging cars beak to grill in the parking lot.
They Yell HELP!
Proper: Canadian Geese
Canadian Geese live in North America.
Yes, geese are often afraid of owls because owls are natural predators of geese. Geese will typically try to avoid areas where owls are present to protect themselves from being hunted.
Canadian geese move north in the late part of the summer. Canadian geese do not migrate during the winter months.
You cannot buy Canadian geese anywhere. You can buy Canada geese, the proper name of the species.
They are called "Canada Geese."
Canadian geese are herbivores. This means that Canadian geese do not eat any type of meat. They only eat plants.
sometimes but not usually. I am speaking of Canadian geese. No. Geese are strictly herbivors.
