Are gel nails better than acrylic?

Does not matter. It depends on personal preference. Neither is "healthier" or better than the other.

Acrylic nails are the most popular, mainly because they are inexpensive, however they do not last as long as Gels. Gels are more sturdy and are less likely to break.

Gels are more expensive but are recommended for people that have got weaker nails, as they are not as harsh to remove.

However, provided that you properly maintain Acrylic nails (in-fills each fortnight, wearing gloves when washing up or using chemicals) then there is no reason that they will last for a long time.

ask yourself this one question. Is it really worth getting a cuticle disease, or getting an infection that will make wanna never show your fingers again. this is very unattractive. Just paint your nails! If you really must have something, then get gel nails at a trusted nail saloon.

I think gels are better because they are thicker and more realistic and better for your nails, they are a bit more expensive but better quality.

One difference between gel and acrylic nails is that gel nails need a UV light to harden. Gel nails also have a more realistic look.

Im not actually sure but gel is just gel that comes out of a tub, and avrylic is a mix of acrylic powder and acrylic liquid to form a gel solution.

Fake nails are much better because gel nails ruin your nails whilst fake nails you can just take off. hope this helped :)
