Pandas are omnivorous creatures feeding on both plants an animals. While the great portion of their diet is bamboo (about 99%), they have been know to feed on small prey such as mice.
99% of a panda's diet is bamboo. The other percent is small rodents, and different kinds of fruits and berries.

Yes, although they are vegetarian. the German term BambusBar- literally Bamboo-Bear tells the story neatly,. the Ursidae ( Bear family) are of course Carnivores.

Technically, yes, the panda is a member of the order carnivora and has many structures common to carnivores. However, 99% of the diet is composed of bamboo and includes little animal matter so it is mostly an herbivore.
