While saying Herpes is bad may be a bit subjective, one could take the stance that any sexually transmitted infection is unhealthy, and reflects poorly on the sexual habits and decision making of the carrier of that infection. If one takes that point-of-view, then yes, I would say carrying Herpes is bad.
No. Herpes is just a viral infection that lives in the nerve cells. It can be prevented and medications can be taken to diminish the spread.

∙ 13y agoherpes is not bad at all, it's almost normal believe it or not.....It the same virus as a cold sore but some people get it on their genitals which can be painful. people who have genital herpes usually don't even get another outbreak...herpes is gross looking and painful but it's not going to kill you and you can live a normal sex life. just don't have sex if u have another outbreak by any chance and your all set.....

∙ 10y agoThe common types of herpes are not dangerous or life threatening. If herpes is contracted at birth then it can be dangerous but this rarely happens. If you happen to contract encephilitis (a type of herpes that affects the brain) then there it can be life threatening. If you happen to contract occular herpes you could eventually go blind.
Lol no herpes isn't dangerous or life threatening. All it does is cause annoying or pain full blisters or sores.
