Over the years, enterprising scientists have thought of many ways to categorise and arrange the known metallic elements - the Periodic Table of the Elements being the best known - but perhaps the most accessible and useful is the Reactivity Series. The following series includes the best-known metals:
Potassium Most reactive
Sodium ↑Calcium ↑
Magnesium ↑
Aluminium ↑
Zinc ↑
Iron ↑
Tin ↑
Lead ↑
Copper ↑
Silver ↑
Gold Least reactive
A number of mnemonics exist to help people remember the Reactivity Series; one big problem, however, is that different versions of the series exist, containing different numbers of metals. 'Please Stop Calling My Zebra In Class' is commonly used to remember a seven-metal Reactivity Series of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron and copper.
Some are and some are not. Metals such as sodium and potassium are extremely reactive some, such as iron, are moderately reactive. Still others, such as gold and platiunum are very non-reactive.
Some metals are, in group one.
yes, the metals are very reactive.
yes they are
All metals are reactive, and there are 91 different metals on the periodic table.
the most reactive (non-metals) group in the periodic table is GROUP 17+they are all reactive
Gold is a less reactive metal but not non-reactive; all metals are reactive.
no
Reactive Metals
All metals are reactive, and there are 91 different metals on the periodic table.
The Alkali metals are the most reactive group of metals in the Periodic Table. Of these Francium is the most reactive metal of all.
The Alkali metals are the most reactive group of metals in the Periodic Table. Of these Francium is the most reactive metal of all.
yes they are the most reactive of all : D
all the metals are reactive but the most reative metal is iron.
the most reactive (non-metals) group in the periodic table is GROUP 17+they are all reactive
Gold is a less reactive metal but not non-reactive; all metals are reactive.
They are highly- reactive metals
fluorine
no
They are highly- reactive metals
Because they are all alkali-metals and alkali -metals are known for being very reactive.
