which river runs across the state of Arkansas
I have looked this up in several places and I am not seeing what I believe is the correct answer. All the responses I am seeing are from counties that are in states that are fully located east of the Mississippi River. However, St. Louis County in Minnesota is EAST of the Mississippi River, although only a portion of the entire state can make that same claim. St. Louis County is 6860 square miles and this is slightly larger than the county that I am most commonly seeing listed as the largest east of the Mississippi: Aroostock County, Maine 6,829 square miles
