No. Oxygen and carbon dioxide are not the molecules that make up the element water. The name for water on the Periodic Table of elements is H2O.(the 2 is slightly lower in the real abbreviation.) H2O stands for 1 oxygen molecule with 2 smaller hydrogen molecules attached to it. It looks similar to the shape of Mickey Mouse's head with his two ears at the top.

What are the chemical products for cellular respiration?

The full equation for cellular respiration is: sunlight glucose+6 molecules of oxygen--->6 molecules of carbon dioxide+6 molecules of water The glucose and oxygen are the raw materials and the carbon dioxide and water are the products.

Does nitrogen oxygen neon carbon dioxide water or methane have molecules?

Yes, they do have molecules. In fact everything is made up of molecules even gases like oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen ect.

What are the are materials of photosynthesis?

The 3 materials needed for photosynthesis are water, carbon dioxide, and sunlight. These 3 materials combined enable the plant to make a sugary substance known as glucose. 6 molecules of water+6 molecules of carbon dioxide=1 molecule of sugar+6 molecules of oxygen* *=The plant doesn't need the oxygen so it releases it into the air. That's how we get our oxygen. :)

Which process are carbon dioxide and water converted to carbohydrates?

Chemoautotrophs are organisms that gain energy saved in inorganic molecules. The carbon dioxide and water molecules are then transformed into carbohydrates and oxygen.

What is the Word equation for methane burning?

methane + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water 2 Methane molecules plus 4 Oxygen molecules gives 2 molecules of Carbon dioxide plus 4 Water molecules.

How many molecules of carbon dioxide are there in photosynthesis?

Th synthesize one molecule of hexose sugar by photosynthesis six molecules of carbon dioxide are required to be assimilated. Since oxygen comes out by photolysis of water double the number of molecules of water are required to release six molecules of oxygen.

Plants make glucose using energy from the sun and two molecules. what are those two molecules?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) are the two reactants needed in this photosynthesis reaction, oxygen and glucose are the products of it.

What is made out of carbon dioxide?

Carbon Dioxide has the atomic structure of one carbon molecule (a 'C' molecule) and two oxygen molecules (two 'O' molecules.) This is why it is called carbon dioxide.
