Yes, they are one of the side effects.. Make sure you show your OB doctor to be sure. It's called dermatitis if it gets infected it will be red and streaky and he will probably just give you a cortisone cream topical---------joymaker rn

No a rash isn't a sign of pregnancy. If you're on any medication this may be the cause for your rash or a chance of soap, cosmetics or washing products can also bring on a rash.

A rash isn't a sign of pregnancy. A sign shows you are pregnant. You may be pregnant and have rashes but they are not a sign.

See a doctor for the rash and a get a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. Only you would know this. Do you still have a period. Have you taken a preg. test??? What kind of rash, raised bumps that are skin color, bumps that have blisters, odd shaped bumps, do they itch. Go to a doctor so they can help you, over the computer is not the best way to deal with your health.

I suppose you can have a rash during pregnancy due to maybe skin sensitivity but a rash is certainly not a common sign of pregnancy. Usually your first signs are going to be a missed period, tender or swollen breasts, change in color in the breasts, fatigue/tiredness and frequent urination.

I don't know how common it is or if that is what is causing this for me. But I am now 5 wks 4 days pregnancy and for 3 days now have had hives. For the first time in my life. And I am miserable. My Dr. gave me diclectin 2 days ago and the past two nights I have taken 1 at bed time. No relief yet. I went to the ER yesterday because they got worse... they just tell me not to worry and continue with the pills 1 per night until it goes away. At this moment I have no idea when it will end but it seems it never will :( I want to know what is causing it. If you have an answer let me know.
