Refurbished or refilled ink cartridges generally work well, but often they contain a small circuit to tell the printer how much ink has gone through. After those cartridges are refilled, the printer software will tell you that the cartridge is empty. This is an attempt by the manufacturer to KEEP you from refilling the cartridge, since some of the "features" of the printer will no longer work.
Inkjet printers are cheap to purchase, but the ink is so expensive that you might find a better printing option by purchasing a laser printer.

ā 14y agoI have actually read that remanufactured inkjet cartridge are cheap but don't give you results like the OEM. I normally just buy from www.bargainink.com

ā 12y agoIncredible cartridges print just as well as any name-brand cartridge out there. They're good for the environment because they recycle old cartridges, which means less plastic for landfills! Plus all that recycling also means you get the product cheaper, so there's more ink in your printer and more cash in your wallet!

ā 9y agoYes, ink refill kits and re-manufactured cartridges do work in HP printers. However, the big name printer manufacturers claim that the cartridges print poor copies and can even ruin your printer.

Although many OEM manufacturers of ink cartridges suggest remanufactured ink cartridges aren't a good investment, many opinions differ. In general, remanufactured ink cartridges help save the environment because ink cartridges' casing are recycled instead of being disposed of in landfills.

ā 12y agoIve asked someone who works at Walgreens where they do that and he says they arent as good. He says their insurance doesnt count towards it. so maybe spending extra for a new one is better
