The salmon has many enemies. In the river it gets eaten by birds, frogs, bears, other fish and of course man. Man also hunts in the ocean along with dolphins, sea lion, seals, sharks, seabirds, whales and other bigger fish.
The predators and preys in the river based on the rivers food chain. In other means predators are those who eat other animals and creatures that live in the river and along the coast of the river. Preys are the ones to be eaten. eg: A crocodile salmons and salmons eats frogs eggs and frogs feeds on grass and other tiny things. NB: that is just an example
the salmon has a big role for food for other animals. Many animals including bears and birds depend on salmon for food, as do us humans. Imagine a world without Chinook salmon?

Either salmon or salmons is correctly used as the plural of salmon.(Salmons is rare in standard English but accepted, especially when talking about several type of salmon. There are dialects that do use salmons regularly)When you speak of more than one salmon, you can change the phrasing to indicate the plural. For example; 'There are many salmon in the river' or 'We caught a lot of salmon today'.Like 'sheep' and 'deer' and 'fish', salmon may be both plural and singular. Unlike sheep, the plural salmons is also used, as is the plural fishes, and more rarely the plural deers.
Sometimes; it depends on the fish. The "oil," however, is fat & that particular fat is good for you & you should eat it if you can.
some fishes that live there are salmons and rainbow trouts...
salmons is the plural way but salmon is the singular way
