yes
Both are vertebrates, mammals, and ruminants. EVEN MORE INTRESTING,sheep, goats, horses, deer, and other hoofed animals are ALL related as well.NOTE=scientistes think that giraffes and deer(and antilopes)might share the same ancester.(they all have horns)
YES! Its incredable but not many people know that in fact they are distant cousins. Llamas started a family in South America as they got ousted by their posh, european cousins making a new life primarily in Peru.
no...The goat is a member of the Bovidae family and is closely related to the sheep not deer as both are in the goat-antelope subfamily Caprinae.
I think so because the have very similar fur or wool
No. A lamb is a baby sheep.
No, lambs are the offspring of sheep. Goats are not related to sheep as they are of different genus.
it is related to sheep and goats
No goats and sheep are of different genera. Mountain Goats are goats that originated from the mountain areas, while big horned sheep are simply sheep with big horns.
Goats are related to sheep for obvious reasons such as hoofs and horns, tails and fur (wool) but some think they are related to deer (more than they are to sheep) because deer have the same tail and they grow horns and they also have hooves while sheep have wool and deer have fur but goats don't have wool they have fur. Goats could also be related to horses through the hooves gene but that would be a short scientific reason why. We all originate from something!
8 sheep 4 goats
No sheep and goats are both herbivores.
They herd camels, goats, and sheep
Just a sheep.
Describe the major difference between sheep's and goats
