I completely disagree with that statement. Spanking a child teaches them right from wrong. I'm currently in highschool, and I can easily tell which adolecents were spanked as children, and which weren't. The ones who are rude and don't pay attention, and also back talk to the teachers, if you ask them, they will tell you that there parents never laid a hand on them. Most of my friends, who are the kids that get good grades, obey rules, and are socially acceptable...they were spanked as children.

Now, look at my generation, and compare it to my parents generation. The generation before me had different standards growing up. If they misbeahved, they got hit. Even at school by teachers. They pretty much all turend out peachy. Now, there is my generation...I can't think of more then 15 students at my school who don't smoke marajuana, and drink, and smoke, and have unprotected sex. I fully blame it on parents being incapable of handing out punishment where punishment is due.

Yes as long as your not the one being spanked. I think it's funny when little kids are bad and their mom spanks their butt. I have seen little kids get spanked so many times...it's hilarious!!=)

Yes it is. Its also very painfull. One time I was at my friend's house. I was like 10 when this happened. We were having a sleep over for 2 weeks. We were.playing with Ben's older brother's fireworks in the back yard. His brother was at college. His mother was inside cooking. So we fired the first one and it shot up. We got to the third when his mother came in and saw us playing with fireworks. She grabbed us by the ear and took us inside. Ben went with his mom into his room.
