yes and no. they are good dogs, however when they get older, they tend to get mean and cranky. this isn't the case with all, but many that i have seen. so this may not be the best breed if you have a family and young kids.

This is based on the average Cocker's ability to learn new commands in 5 to 15 repetitions and obey commands the first time given of 85% of the time or better. Since they are stubern when training them you must ask them to do things never tell them them to do something that just goes wrong from the start and is hard to put right cause then they are determined to not do as you say

hi, springers are high trainable my pup in only 6 months an she knows how to:sit,touch your hand when told to,watch you when told,fetch,go to her bed when told and many more my springer was fully toilet trained at 3moths, at 4 months the night accidents stoped all togheter!
