Stingrays are not mammals.

Stingrays are members of the fish family. They have scales (rather than fur, skin or hair), and breathe using gills, rather than lungs.

Specifically, stingrays are members of the class Chondrichthyes which comprise the jawed fish which have paired fins, paired nares (nostrils), scales and two-chambered hearts. These fish have skeletons which are made of cartilage rather than bone.
