The Sycamore Lace Bug is the common name of Corythuca ciliata.Specifically, this insect is the only lace bug to favor Sycamore (Platanus spp) trees. It is native to the United States of America. During the 1960s, the insect was introduced into Europe, where it is now considered a serious pest of the popular European Sycamore shade tree.
