Unlike in years past, the designation of either A or B has become blurry. There are no hard and fast rules delineating what is an A or B team. It has become a subjective matter. My 12u PA Shooting Stars were, in my estimation, a good B team in 2012. However, our record against A teams was 14-2.
Any team can call themselves A or B today. The same is true for Gold. While ASA (the only governing softball body that recognizes the term Gold) has defined a Gold team as 'one that is 18u and has roughly $20,000 in their savings for travel across the US to dedicated Gold tournaments'...it is safe to say we have all seen 10u teams with the title Gold attached to their name.
Bottom line...outside of the true definition of Gold or College Showcase Team...A and B definitions mean very little today. What is the question you would really like to know regarding the 14u PA Shooting Stars?
See them on the field and make your own assessment.

Not very likely. However you may have a chance if you are a Gold level team, travel extensively and are winning high profile tournaments.
Union City soccer team.
There is professional softball. They play in the United States as well as other countries such as Japan. any player can play for any team, even if they are not from the area. In this aspect, it is just like major league baseball.
It depends - are you a slapper, a power hitter, do you have slow bat speed or fast bat speed. The answers may be balanced, end-loaded, light drops (-11, -12). There is a great site - www.thecoachreviews.com - that reviews the Best Fastpitch Softball Bats. It also provides reviews from Players, Coaches and Parents. Also provides Top Rankings of Fastpitch Bats in several categories - Slappers, Power Hitters, Balanced, End-Loaded, Team Bats (8U, 10U, 12U), Composite and Non-Composites.
