It has an electric fuel pump inside of the fuel tank.
If your Chevy trailblazer 2004 gauges are not working, check your fuel pump.
There are two kinds of fuel pumps that your pickup can have, Mechanical, or Electric. More than likely you have a Mechanical, the Mechanical fuel pump is located on the side of the engine (pretty easy to replace), you can follow the fuel line from the fuel filter down to it, and just google an image of a mechanical fuel pump you will find it. If your fuel pump is Electrical it will be in the gas tank, or tanks if you have dual tanks. For Electrical, you will have to take off the fuel lines to the tank, unstrap it and remove it from the pickup to in order to remove the pump.
