Are there any drugs that would cause a positive test for cocaine?

I recently lost my job and probably my CDL from a drug test. I was told that I tested positive for cocaine. I have also had a cold for the past week and have taken a lot of medication. I do not do drugs and believe some of these medicines have as cocaine. I need some help.

Hmmmm. I suspect you have beed doing coke and are trying to come up with something to use as an excuse if your urine test comes up positive. If that's not how it is, then you shouldn't have to worry as you will be asked for a list of medications you are taking. If any medication is cocaine-based, you will need a prescription to justify the results. It would be in your interest to take the medicine vial with you when you go take the test. If you don't have a prescription, there isn't much you can do to try and fool the technicians as to why the test was cocaine-positive. I have not been doing cocaine. This question was put to me by someone else. No one is trying to falsify a urine test. A false positive has nothing to do with trying to "fool" a technician. Suggestion for you, before you try to answer a question like this get your facts straight. Antibiotics can cause a false positive for cocaine, amoxicillin quite often will do just that.

Yes. Just about every type of drug test out there will test for cocaine, unless it's one of those home tests that is specific to one drug. It can be detected anywhere from 24 hours up to 5 or 6 days, depending on the type of test, the method of injestion (i.e. sniffing it will stay in your system longer than injecting or smoking it,) and how much and how long a person has been using it. If the urine is sent to a lab, it is more likely to be discovered than if it is a simple "dip" test.
