The fastest I've been able to find is the Bounder Plus, which goes 11.6 MPH. Generally, most electric wheelchairs only go 3-8 MPH.
There are Class 2 and Class 3 scooters. Class 2 scooters must have a maximum speed of 4 MPH and are not legal to be driven on the street (sidewalk only). Class 3 scooters must have a maximum speed of 8 MPH and are road legal. By law, these are also fitted with full lights and indicators.
The fastest electric wheelchair is the Quickie Xperience 2, which has a top speed of 8 mph. Other high-speed electric wheelchairs include the Permobil M3 Corpus (8 mph) and the Quantum Q6 Edge 2.0 (6 mph).
12 mph
You can rent a wheelchair near the South Wing C lobby and at the west side of the front circle. In 2008, prices were $12 for wheelchairs, and $50 for electric scooters or $13 per hour. Prices cover rentals for the entire day, and a driver's license is required. You can not reserve wheelchairs or scooter, and they are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
12 kph = about 7.5 mph.
12 mph
12 mph on a scooter is 12 miles an hour (about 4 times walking speed)
10 to 12 mph
1 hour, 40 minutes at 12 mph
100 Mph
4 to 8 mph at a show walk up to 12 mph at a fast walk. A Spotted saddle horse, like any other horse not bred for racing will be able to gallop at speeds of 14 to 25 MPH.
Usually 12 volt deep cycle automotive batteries.
12 km per hour is about 7.456 MPH.
