Yes, definitely. Grades depend more on memorization and quickness of thought than actual intelligence. I have an IQ of over 160 yet I struggled to get B's in math because I am bad at computations. I often struggled in English because my essays were hard to understand and they were often not organized correctly. The only reason I took advanced English was because my teacher convinced me that no one with a reading level two grade levels above average should take the regular class. People often think that geniuses get bad grades because of laziness, but this really isn't true. Often they struggle because they are bad at memorization, they have test anxiety, they may not have enough time to complete tests, or they struggle at explaining their ideas to other people.
