I found the following on a web site (can't remember which): H.U. Lee Scholarship Foundationhttp://www.huleefoundation.com/

Have you been practicing tae kwon do since third grade? Well, your dedication may actually help pay for your college education. The H.U. Lee Scholarship Foundation was established in 1992 by the American Taekwondo Association to honor its founder, Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee. According to the foundation's Web site, Lee "was an extraordinary man and visionary who committed his entire life to making the world a better place through education, respect, and philanthropy. He had a love for people, especially children, and through his international Martial Arts organization, he helped make their dreams a reality."

The foundation awards annual varying scholarships to graduating high school seniors accepted for full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. college or university and who exemplifies the skills of discipline and perseverance as taught through the American Taekwondo Association. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA, a minimum 1100 SAT score or 27 ACT score and submit an essay.
