People who are fans of the books tend to be fans of the movies as well however, there are lots of people who watch the movies who have never even touched a Harry Potter book let alone read all seven of them.

The movies are based on the books. Some fans of the movies got the impression that Harry and Hermione would be together due to the way the script was written and how certain scenes were depicted. Harry potter is a series of 7 books by JK Rowling. There are currently 5 movies based on the books aswell. The books are about a magical school of withcraft and wizardary. In the story a young orphan learns he is a wizard and soon attends the school. These books have many fans and I am definitly one of them. The book was written for the young adult, but many adults read them aswell.
