Yes, the 3.7 Chrysler motors suffer from an oiling problem. The oil gets sludged up and does not flow thru the motor leaving the lifters without oil. this causes the rocker arms to be loose failing and falling off of the mounts.
This is a know problem with a lot of Chrysler motors.
In my experience most problems with the 3.7L or any other Chrysler engines can be attributed to lack of oil changes or overheating the engine.
