Are they making the lost hero into a movie?

The Sea Of Monsters (the second book in the Percy Jackson series) is being made into a movie right now. It is said to come out March 2013, then they have to make the rest of the Percy Jackson books into movies. So if you want to see the Lost Hero, your going to have to wait maybe 10-15 years..

We don't know. It is Rick Riordan's choice. He has copyrighted the books, and the movie directors need his permission.

One reason is because the Percy Jackson series has unfinished movies. So it is unlikely that someone would skip ahead. The book is also new, so there is a lot of preparation being needed.

Another reason is because it takes a lot of money to prepare a movie--especially a sci-fi like Percy Jackson and The Lightening Thief. There is more action and effects needed, and so far, no one is willing to make a movie.

I wanted a movie to come out too. But anything can happen, so just keep hoping...

As of now, there is no official confirmation of "The Lost Hero" by Rick Riordan being made into a movie. However, with the success of other movie adaptations from Riordan's works, there may be a possibility in the future.
