All churches claim to be biblical in some way or other, but some are more so than others. It comes down to definitions. To be truly Biblical means to copy the example of the original 1st-century church detailed in the New Testament of the Bible as closely as they possibly can. Those churches were hated by the Jews, by the Romans, and by the Greeks, and opposition was so bad that Christians had to be prepared to die for their faith. However, those churches were full of truly-converted people because they had "counted the cost." Many martyrs came from this type of church.

At the other extreme are so-called "biblical" churches that don't really follow the full teachings of The Bible, but are very worldly, are little more than cosy social clubs, don't have that many truly-converted christians in their congregations, and threaten no-one and stand for nothing.

Every individual church-goers beliefs range from TRULY BIBLICAl with God and the Bible as its authority to WORLDLY with Man and Men's beliefs as their authority. The more Worldly a church is the more unconverted the churchgoers are, but it must be stressed that there are non-christians in every single church, regardless of its denomination: the denomination is unimportant.

What is important is whether a church holds the Bible as its standard or not. Bigger denominations tend to be more ritualistic and worldly than small Community churches that are not handicapped by being labelled a particular denomination. A good Worldliness test is to see how Biblical that church is regards the importance it places upon money and the Bible.

Truly Biblical churches can be any denomination, but are more likely to be non-denominational.

Do Non-denominational Christian churches follow the basic Protestant principle of Scripture alone?

Yes! The answer is in the question, "Christian churches". Christian means following the teachings of Jesus, the Christ. A Christian church is made up of a community of individuals that follow those teachings. Non-denominational indicates the Christian church is not connected to an organized religious group; Methodist, Lutheran, Congregational, etc. The Christian instruction of a non-denominational protestant church is not filtered through the teachings of John Wesley, Martin Luther, Calvin etc. Therefore the instruction comes directly from the New Testament. There is a caveat however. Some non-denominational churches use the christian label but their instruction is based on the Old Testament of Judgement rather than the New Testament of Love. When you visit a "non-denominational Christian church" if you leave feeling worse than you walked in you are probably in the wrong church where Judgement is the word of the day rather than Love. If you leave a church feeling better than you walked in, you have probably witnessed Christian Love.
