Yes. If you bring things from home like liquids there maybe restrictions. I would suggest that you buy the foods and snacks after you have been through security to make sure you are absolutely allowed to bring it on.

Well, it all depends on the airlines you are flying. Most airlines don't allow any foods from outside areas, because the food from other places could have explosive chemicals hidden in them, or the food could be poisoned. However, you can bring food on the plane if you bought that food item at that certain airport. Some airlines allow you to pack foods in you luggage (not carry-ons) and most provide snacks during flight such as peanuts, fruit and cheese, ect.

Yes they are...you can actually take a meal. Just not liquid like a drink or sauce. A lot of people board with take out boxes. I've taken a full Pizza back for my husband when we relocated to TX and he missed the pizza from home lol
