Yes, there is some. There is math in basketball by using geometry to know which direction to shoot in. If you didn't use geometry, you could not score at all! There is science by force. You use force to pass the ball, dribble it, and shoot it. There is no language arts nor art. There is physical education by moving and using physical skills to reach the ball and help your team win.
