Depends mostly on the strings. Various gauges reach various depths, but with normal Electric Guitar strings, I have reached Drop A, no problem. Many bands go lower, for example Slipknot did a couple of songs in Drop G I think, Cannibal Corpse are famous for A# Standard tuning. The lowest I've heard (and possibly the lowest currently possible) is E standard, an entire octave (12 half steps) down from Standard Tuning, used in Meshuggah's song "Spasm".I think with normal strings I wouldn't dare go beyong Drop G#, but with different guage strings, I believe 12 half steps down is the lowest in a recorded song. Hope I helped.
firstly let it be known that its a bass note, but tuned low E, if that's a tuning, I haven't heard of it, but if its a string its the 6th string, more commonly known as the Low E string, now you can't describe musical notes in text very well, so I would suggest getting a chromatic tuner to tune more efficiantly
For a 6 string guitar, from lowest to highest in pitch (thickest to thinnest), the tuning is E A D G B E.
For a 4 string Bass Guitar, from lowest to highest in pitch (thickest to thinnest), the tuning is E A D G.
There are many other tunings but these iare the most common and you will find them used in most songs.
With standard tuning the lowest note on a guitar is an E played on the first string. (The low E string.)
Standard tuning should be E A D G B E. When the second fret on the g string is played, it should sound at an A440.
hi e
Generally that means standard tuning - from lowest string up, E, A, D, G, B, E.
Tuning is really a choice. If you want to get the best sound out of your guitar, then I highly suggest tuning it.
yes and a bass, its all in what tuning you use

drop d

A Baroque guitar is an archaic form of guitar with five strings, characterized by the use of re-entrant tuning.
Guitar. Tuning forks are a sine wave
I was tuning my guitar when i made a mistake/ my mother called me for lunch/ any sequence you want to make do with. etc: my guitar fell/ etc........
Guitar has no alternate tuning, and is just "tuned in C," just like the piano, marimba, violin and cello, among other instruments.
You use a tuner! Making sure the pitch of the string is neither flat or sharp. Normal tuning for a guitar is E A D G B E (lowest, thickest string to highest, thinnest string in case you didn't know. Just plug the guitar in ,if you have an electric, with a cable or put the tuner near the guitar, acoustic. The tuner should have a little mic to pick up the sound if your tuning an acoustic.
i would not recommend altering your guitar in any way, because that could mess up the tuning and sound of your guitar
