Hello, I am currently a nursing student, at NCCC and the average heart rate for a 84 year old is 70bpm. It can also range from 60-100 beats per minute. The most important thing to realize is that there should not be a significant difference in HR. (unless the person has justexercised or took a med that will cause and increase in HR). It really depends on the person, their genes, and their gender. It gets lower as you get older, though.
* the normal heart rate for adults (including seniors) is 60-100 beats per minute.
60-100 but its understood through either less active or medication that its going to be under 60... if its under 40 goto the hosp. if its under 60 goto the Dr.

The normal heart rate for every adult (puberty and beyond) can vary differently from place to place. while in nursing school the guidelines have been 60-100 bpm (beats per minute). However this can be different based on someones normal rate which can differ between different conditions and peoples genetics. However 77 is a perfect rate. If youre concerned about your cardiovascular health you may want to consult your PCP and get some labs drawn. Potassium if youre really worried about your heart rate. I am a licensed nurse in both NY and NM.
Perfectly normal.
O.K. Boys! Here is my 77 year old resting heart rate--72 to 78 based on ten second test at 12 to 13 beats. I have a stent in my heart and a new pacemaker which has nothing to do with heart rate as it was the same before turning into a bionic stud. The blood pressure has remained the same for years now. It varies from 120 over 70 to 120 over 80. What this all means? I haven´t a clue except that it all feels normal. Hope this helps.
Heart attack at the age of 77.
Beatrix Potter passed away in 1943 from pneumonia and heart disease, which were not purely age-related. She was 77 years old at the time of her death.
Yes, Bohr died on November 18, 1962
Nearly every text book lists 60-100 as the normal heart rate. This range was defined by doctors in order to make it easier to define fast and slow heart rates when reading EKG's and was not based on any research. In more recent studies, done at VA medical centers - so largely in older males, the normal heart rate was 50-90.In some medical conditions doctors may intentionally try to suppress the heart rate down the 50-60 range.
It depends on a lot of things like fitness, heart medical problems like ischaemia, dysfunction, failure, hypertrophy, previous heart attacks, abnormal rhythms, heart medicines, degree of ageing of the heart, whether resting or moving around. I suppose a resting pulse of 80 would be reasonable.
Yes it should be in between 70-100 b/m but it depends if you are standing up, laying down, or if it was after physical activity.

Niels Bohr died of a heart attack at the age of 77, at his home in denmark.
% rate = 77% = 77/100 * 100% = 77 * 1% = 77%
