Disease prevention is "going on the offense" to prevent infection as well as disease. It is being proactive in your healthcare, dong everything you can to be healthy and avoiding unhealthy behaviors such as smoking, drugs, etc. It is eating the right (healthy) foods, without unnecessary preservatives, eating veggies and fruits, avoiding sweets, etc. It's just being proactive with your health and making the right choices so your body can naturally fight off disease.
It means doing things that are unhealthy like smoking, or not exercising, or eating the wrong kinds of foods. These are all things that people can choose to do, and know they are not good, but they make those choices.
