Battery light was on and checked to see if it was the alternator and the alternator was bad have not fixed the alternator and now the battery light has not come back on what could be the problem?

There is no problem...the problem was the alternator. You have fixed the problem.

I had this problem. The alternator was fine, it was the battery that was bad. The alternator was "pegging" out the indicator bc it was trying to charge the battery, but it wasnt taking charge. Take the battery out and have it checked.
