For Chocolate Dreamer, I use a 2009 Steuben with adjustable gullet for comfort. Thick knee roll pads to absorb rolling gait movement. Also, it has a gel gullet insert, optional for ultimate comfort, and for more fitting on looser or -ahem- rounder horses or saddles. I use a thick canvas with cloth covering western pad despite the discipline difference, and I also use a Chestnut girth with double elastic and an optional sheepskin cover. All these come in many colour options, but I personally chose a light Hickory shade to compliment his gray roaning and his underside blue ticking

They have saddles? If they do, you don't need one to ride your horse. You have to wait until it has two hearts before you can ride it (plus it has to be an adult). I never encountered a saddle. ,':|
