It depends on your type of style because different stores sell different types of clothing. If you don't really have a style you like, look at Target, Khols, or Macys. They have many different types of clothes.

Now, some of these stores vary upon your sense of appearance & image. If you want to, or do not mind being projected as a prep; some super preppy clothes I primarily wear are Polo by Ralph Lauren, Hollister, and Abercrombie & Fitch.

You may find less preppy clothes, or different styles at places mentioned such as, but not limited to, TJMaxx, JCPenneys, etc.
