Aircraft are made of many different material's. the body and wings of an aircraft are usually made of a copper aluminum compound which has been age hardened to cope with the forces seen during flight. As technology advances we are now seeing aircraft being built of carbon fibre. Currently the only carbon fibre aircraft being produced is the 787 dreamliner
They are usually made from Aluminum Alloys - Because it is light and strong :)
A lot of planes are made of aluminum to make the shassie as light as possible. But

some are made of steel.
