Burning natural fuels is harmful for the environment and is contributing to the green house effect so we need to find other ways of getting energy without harming the environment.

It is also useful because burning water in a boiler does not let as much of the pollution get out.

Yes unfortunately the gas within a gas boiler is harmful and you must not inhale. There are multiple sources online to learn about gas boilers, how to use them, how to install them safely, when do you actually need a professional to help you out. So the net is a big place and you can learn a lot about anything. It is always good to ask what you believe you don't know and browse around a bit to learn more.
